Deviating a bit from Unlocking Nature, here we Unlock History too. From the centuries old war torn city of Delhi, we take you southwards to Agra, where the magnificent Taj unfolds in front of you as you cross an arch doorway.  As we deviate westwards, the famed Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s Capital City and the outstanding architectural monument of Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri are further ahead enroute to Jaipur. For the wild nature enthusiasts, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Ranthanbore Tiger Reserve are in the region. The Tiger trails of Ranthanbore National Park treasures some of the majestic Tigers of India within its vast reserve forests.

Jaipur, dubbed as the Pink City due its distinctly painted buildings, was built in the 18th century by the Jaipur royals and is the first planned city of modern India. Home to many magnificent Forts, Palaces and museums Jaipur is a historical treat by itself.

If time is not a constraint, we can take you further westwards through the desert landscapes of Rajasthan, we explore the other ancient royal cities like Jodhpur & Udaipur of Rajasthan. Udaipur, the city of lakes is famed for its sprawling luxurious palaces of no match, with a romantic setting and rich cultural background. Jodhpur – the Blue City, is the gateway to the Thar desert. On rock outcrop stands the majestic fort of Mehrangarh and Umaid Bhavan is unique for its elegance.

A fabulous experience of rich culture, north indian landscape, wilderness, rich cuisines, as the golden triangle takes us northwards back to Delhi.
